Hiya! I had a fab time in London yesterday wandering around Notting Hill and checking out the little vintage shops. We had to stop at the Hummingbird Bakery for cupcakes (highly recommended!) and coffee before admiring gorgeous clothes in Selfridges. I missed the Grace Kelly exhibit :( , but had a great time anyways! Hope you guys are having a lovely weekend!

Ugh! have totally fallen off the radar this week- work's been mental and have been fighting off one of those inevitable colds you get in Fall (so far, the cold is winning). Ah well, am just happy it's Friday! Yay! Have a nice weekend planned with friends so will back to myself in no time! Have a good one guys!

Hi everyone! I can't believe it's been a week since I posted anything- Have been pretty boring really- just work, checking out NYFW on style.com and trying to figure out how to upload pics (not successful.....oh well!). My favourite shows were Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, Marc by Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Philip Lim and Calvin Klein Collections. Fashion week is in full force in London now, but have been disappointed by the shows so far. Anyways, I saw this pic on jakandjil blog and was instantly inspired by the pattern! more fashion to come!

Hi everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend! I've had a busy and fun one.On saturday I went into London to see an exhibit at the Tate Modern called Exposed, which was ace (see tate.org.uk/modern for more details) and spent the afternoon wondering around looking at Art and people-watching ( a favourite sport of mine!). I met some of my closest friends for Italian food in Hampstead and caught up over lots of Gelati (completely recommeded). Today, I got to take my boots out for a spin and went for a slightly rocky vibe (I was chanelling Taylor Momsen with the sullen expressions!) Anyways, hope you guys have a great week!

I know I've been harping on about my new boots (am still excited), I've always been pining for a grey jersey maxidress.......and here it is! The length is perfect (can wear flats without sweeping the sidewalk and collecting debris in the hem) and I'm going to layer jumpers and shirts over it when the weather gets chillier. Definitely a versatile addition!

I'm so excited that my Shearling boots arrived today! Yes, I knew that Shearling has reached it's saturation point when even Next had a version out, but like any good consumer, I was unable to resist! I can't wait to wear them out (when my left foot rejoins the party) and showing you guys! What shearling pieces have you guys succumbed to?

I finally ventured out today with the aid of crutches and found out a few things: 1) pavements in the UK are treacherously uneven 2) across the body bags are a God send and made for times like these 3) getting caught in the middle of the road when the lights changed is even scarier when you can't move fast! I chose some comfy clothes today in the form of dungarees and flip flops (actually only one coz my foot couldn't fit in the other one). Can't wait to be back on form and did i mention my new shearling boots? Am super excited!

I'm usually pretty dubious about any fashion/jewelry/perfume line endorsed/created by celebs (except the Row and Elizabeth and James, coz the Olsens are fierce). Maybe it's just the cynical side of me coming through, but the designs never seem genuine or as if the celebrity had anything to do with it, rather than turn up at the photo shoot. I was pleasantly surprised by Nicole Richie's jewelry line House of Harlow, which is available at Asos. The designs are beautiful and affordable (some of it anyways), with a consistent aesthetic across the line. Definitely on the wish list!
ps: I've sprained my ankle, hence the lack of fashion posts recently! Didn't stop me buying a new pair of shearling boots though!

I saw this beautiful editorial done for Elle Uk october issue (also celebrating their 25th birthday), featuring Coco Rocha and various male models and had to share it with you, if you haven't seen it. The pics highlight the classic pieces in any modern wardrobe and were shot by David Vasiljevic. Hope you love them as much as I do!

Was just playing around with the camera and contrasting colours- I love the mosaic tiles in the background, which goes great with the red, don't you think? this is just really about me being idle on a saturday night. What have you guys been up to?

Am so excited about fashion week and a few new ideas I've got, which hopefully will be posted here soon! I chose another sweater dress with some ankle boots for today coz I needed to be a bit smart and warm- who doesn't like functionality? My fashionable cat wondered into the pics again and it always makes me laugh when I'm reviewing and editing photos- me being all serious and my just wants a cuddle!
Happy Saturday everyone!

As Fashion week approaches (and the seasons change) I always take the time to rethink my winter wardrobe; you know, chuck out the woolly tights with pills/holes, dust off last year's coat and invest in some shiny new outerwear pieces to make me excited when I've got to wake up when it's dark (I hate that ). So ,have been trawling the websites for some cute new additions which should last me the whole winter (all 6 months of it here in the UK!). What's on your shopping list?
